Government officials in China and throughout Southeast Asia have introduced a new association to oversee and moderate international ecommerce dealings in the region.

The new association will take care of several aspects of international ecommerce. First and foremost, the association is designed to effect positive change across the international trade landscape of Southeast Asia. The association will build connectivity and create a union of sorts among its members, then leverage its influence to offer discounted services and other perks to members. Additionally, it will create a database of suppliers in China and surrounding countries to allow buyers to vet manufacturers before they sign on.

The association is set to debut before the end of the year and promises to offer security, networking opportunities, and stability to businesses that buy and sell goods online throughout Southeast Asia.
